Powerful motivations for mom on the front, and motivations to say to mom on the back.  Sometimes the simplest items are the most effective.  This is great for prompting those moms and partners who simply don't know what to say to offer motivation and comfort.  A great item to have in your Midwife or Doula bag. 

Suggestions for use: 

Moms: Use to prepare for labor, by reading the motivations and meditating on each as you breathe and relax. Useful during labor, to re-focus your mind. Repeat one motivation throughout a contraction or read through the set as you re-group between contractions.

Partners/Support People/Doulas: Use during labour as a prompter for your positive reinforcement and support to the laboring woman.

Childbirth Educators: Use as a Teaching Tool. Circulate around the classroom to each couple. Have the mother read aloud the motivation that most speaks to her. Have her partner read aloud which partner motivation he/she feels might assist mom most during labor.
